Driveshaft Specialist of Texas.
They have HD two piece and single piece driveshafts, aluminum drive shafts, and more info than you can image about drive shafts for F150s.

Give them a call...they'll hook you up.

Thier HD drive shaft is on my list of upgrades for my 08.

well finally got some time to change my U-Joints out. to be honest I waited so long because I didnt have ill effects of the U joints. I recently developed a clunking that I thought was in the front end. reading through a ton of posts everyone was point to the two piece shaft needed lube. so i figured while down there might as well do the Joints too. I must say what a PITA!! Every one of them was seized. a job that should have taken 2 hrs took almost 5 with a ton of swearing involved..all in all...after it was done no clunking in the front end. so I was and am happy about that. thanks to all that help point me in the right direction..

I have a 2006 SCAB as well but mine is a one piece drive shaft with a u-joint at the slip yoke and a u-joint at the rear diff. I just changed my u-joints a few weeks ago and you are correct...huge PITA. I finally got them pressed out and installed new ones and it made a huge difference. But i'm curious as to why you would have a two-piece drive shaft in a SCAB with a six foot bed? I thought only SCREW's with a long box had a two piece driveshaft with a carrier bearing? Just curious.

Could be worse, you could have one of the 04s with the staked u joints.

Or a shaft whose U-joints were rusted in place... getting mine out broke the flange yoke. I had a hell of a time finding another one of those.

Crawl underneath and see.if you have the regular clip style joints or staked ones like these...
