Default drivers seat

I have a 07 screw, and drove from san antonio texas, to fort garland colorado thats like 850 miles. And with back problems I realized how f-ing uncomfortable my drivers seat is. I went to a few shops here in town, and they dont want to just mess with the padding, they want to redo the covers and and everything. I dont want to do that. any ideas.......

Try tightening our lumbar support and a simple foam pad. No matter what you sit in, if your sitting in it for 800 miles youre going to get bleacher butt. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Find another apholstry shop. The good ones (that are not trying to jack you on getting new covers) will replace the bottom foam with quality stuff that's much firmer.

NICE PUN! Anyways. I find my seat to still be comfortable and it is starting to break apart after sitting on it for over 201,000 miles. However if my wife gets in and moves the seat around it will take me a month to get it back to where I like it. The smallest adjustment means a lot to my sensitive seating area.

+1 to that! Sounds like they want the $ of a full repair and only replacing the bottom foam isn't going to make them enough dough. Time for new shop!
