So my front driver side window only goes up and down a few inches. I pulled the door panel off and found this clip to be broken. Can I just replace this clip or do I need the entire regulator?

Entire regulator is reasonably inexpensive. About $40 at Rockauto.com

 

You need a regulator
There is NO fixing the broken ones

 

I just replaced the power window regulator in my driver's door on my 05 regular cab. Easy job about 1/2 to R&R the regulator & about 15 minutes for the door panel if it co-operates on reinstallation.

 

Not near as hard these days as the old ones with the peel rivets in the glass
I used to hear the glass blow at the dealer occasionally when the guys would use the wrong rivets
fun stuff

 

So do I just need the regulator or the regulator and motor assembly. On rock auto if you select just the regulator some of the pictures show the motor and others don’t so I’m confused there. It’s the extended cab.

 

You just need the regulator.

 

They are cheaper on Ebay for the same Chinese part

That is a 4 door one for the drivers door
They are different 2 door to 4 door
