Default Downshift Setting on Edge

I've seen A LOT threads about Shift Firmness, WOT, Timing, etc...but my concern is downshifting. My 2007 F150 FX4 SCAB 5.4 is downshifting hard, and sporadic. This happens only in stop-and-go traffic (which I rarely drive in) but I want to see what opinions are out there to avoid it. If i'm coming to a stop or slowing down in 2nd or 3rd gear, and then I accelerate the truck will drop to the lower gear...and it's a rough/delayed shift. At 105K my tranny is still going strong, but I fear this will be an issue down the road. I dont think my mods would help, but just in case...

K&N drop-in
Bilstein 5100
275/65/20 BFG A/T
Edge Evo on Level 2, no change in canned tuned other than tire size.

I promised I searched, and there A LOT of custom settings everyone has suggested and I've seen one user mention the downshift issue...but he hasn't logged back on in awhile. Help Please?!

You can adjust shift points...

1-2
2-3
3-4

and then downshift

4-3
3-2
2-1

I'm curious if anyone has adjusted the downshift, (+) is performance and (-) is economy...so would that apply to downshifting. For example a tighter shift be better for stop-in-go traffic?

Take it to a professional tuner, I'd trust them over myself anyday. You have $15,000 of drivetrain components relying on a $300 canned computer tune, I'd go custom tailoring. The Edge never played nice with my tranny which is why I switched 70k miles ago.

You may want to email Bill @ PHP, he wrote the tunes for the Edge unit.
