Default Differences a programmer makes?

First off let me say I've used the search feature and looked at tons of threads.

Well im interested in buying the Edge Evolution programmer and im just wondering how big a difference it makes. I know it firms up the shift points but how much quicker/ faster does it make it?

0-60 I'm a little more than 2 seconds quicker with the edge and knn intake. From 11 to 8.75. And it added 4 mpgs

I think the edge is the best thing I've bought for my truck. I've seen great mpg gains and power increase,I would def recommend

If you get a programmer, is it better for you to get a CAI as well? Or is it necessary? Because I've read around a lot on here and some people say they don't help that much.

Does it add enough power to easily break the tires loose?

I think you might be thinking of a supercharger haha. A programmer with a custom tune can only go so far on cheap bolt ons/stock.

Haha i wish. It's just i've been hearing SO many different things on these that im more confused than ever. Some people say the programmer makes my 0-60 2 seconds faster and the tires screech between gear changes. And then I hear other people saying a programmer barely does anything.

I'd just like to know how much faster it makes it haha
