Just found this thread and did it to my 06,4.6l, and woke it right up! didn't do anything the first time just cycleing it,untill I adjusted the peddal then BAM, new truck. Thought I would resurect this topic for newbies like me that don't have a clue about older mods that are free and work great.

if you are referring to the cycle the key / pedal press trick = it works awesome. My truck I bought a month ago was a dog off the line, till I used this tip, now it's like a whole new truck!!!
