2005 F150 FX4 5.4 - 192,000km

Replaced:
- IWE's & solenoid
- new front rotors
- Modified FPDM with spacers and painted/undercoated back to prevent corrosion

Regular maintenance
- Full synthetic 5w20 on all changes (but switched at a later mileage)
- Differential + transfer cases changed as required
- New spark plugs at 110,000km, none broke
- Fuel filter, brakes, etc...
- Resprayed undercoat as some had chipped off

Known issue I currently have:

- Transmission seal to transfer case leaking slowly between which is common. Doesn't occur fast enough that I've worried about it.

I've added a significant amount of things such as edge programmer, airraid cold air intake, 2.5" level kit, rear blocks, nitto terra grapplers, firestone airbags, etc... no issues.

Overall I really like the truck and it's been very good. I'm not super happy with the noise the 5.4L makes (mine's not bad - not near enough to change phasers yet) but I'm not losing sleep over it. Personally, I don't like the look of the new F150's as much (the 09+) but I do like some of the other features like the electronic rear locking diff, etc... Will probably hold onto my truck for a bit as it's been really good.

It's definitely paid for itself well over.

My 2006 Regular Cab, went through an E/F-5 tornado. The only damage was sheet metal. Getting ready to kick over 95,000, with only being stranded twice. Once when the original battery bit the dust, and when I got too much water on the coil pack.

Love my truck, it has literally been through hell and high water.

You will see the same on any forum. When people have an issue, they turn to others on forums to find an answer.
Every type of vehicle will have a small percentage with issues. You just hear about the issues in forums.
Nobody comes on here and makes a thread "My truck has been problem free and I love it!", but for most people that is the case.
