Last night on the way to work.... i was meeting a white suv and as we was getting ready to pass each other he yanked the wheel into my lane to miss a deer... that he was easily going to miss... and it forced me off the road into a good size doe... i went off the road ...bumper wrapped around front tire and when the tire hit pavement it yanked the wheel out of my hand.. and veered back off the road I finally got it shut down right on the verge of going off a 8 foot embankment... So close.. I couldnt walk around the passenger side ........

So Called up my buddy with a rollback.. when he got there we used the wench to pull the bumper off the tire... and suck the truck away from the embacnkment... Here are some pictures...






I guess its time for a face lift anyways...

I hate people like that. They freak out in the dumbest of situations. Hmm..hit a 200 lb deer or swerve at the oncoming SEVERAL thousand lb truck. Lets take a chance!

 

Well.. The **** didnt pull over... I was pretty ticked..... Only thing hurt is my truck ... And that damn deer.. If i can work a road armor type of bumper in.. Im going to... Im probably going to fix it my self... It blows... I was so happy when i got to drive it on to work though lol...Them bumpers are like made out of pot metal.. I could have pissed hard enough to etch my name in it ..

I nailed one in my Trans Am at 70mph one night... I looked up thru my T-Tops and saw it heading to the sky. It landed like a bag of rocks and that little got up and ran away... Oh well at least I got a new paint job out of it..

And I have a Friend who works at a Ford dealer body shop in Northern Michigan, he gets about 50% of his work from those deer..

 

I hit one when i first got my truck.. Little over 6 grand worth of damange...

That sucks! Sorry for your truck. We have hog problems down here in Texas, theyll tear up a truck too!

 

That sucks dude, hope it gets fixed, and remember for insurance you didn't hit the deer, he jumped in front of you as a suicide attempt!
