Default Dealership question

Would anyone have an idea of how long it would take a "ford" dealership to replace PCM with reman and program. (hours) ?

No I don't. I would call a few. Pretty sure it's easy. Why not try it yourself.

A dealership will want to diagnose this issue as well. I doubt they will just replace the PCM because you said its bad.

What's wrong with your PCM? I had a CEL that said faulty PCM. Dealership wanted something like $1,000 to replace it, but I insisted that they just update/reprogram it, and it made my CEL go away. I think it was like $50 or something to reprogram. Not sure though because its been a few years.

They told me mine had fried. I had a Code reding p0194 fuel rail pressure sensor but it could have been 4 different reasons for that code. They ran a diagnostic and it was the PCM throwing the code because it wasnt good. They also changed the fuel regulator. I ordered a reman PCM and recieved it last Tuesday and brought it to them but they still havnt gotten to it as of Friday. So that's why I was asking if anyone knew how long it might take.
