I am getting a d1 code while trying to program my new edge evolution. Edge tech support is closed til jan 2. Any help would be great?

 

are you trying to upgrade through the server? if so, make sure your EVO is at level 0 STOCK SETTINGS. That is the setting the edge server does its upgrades on. If not, are you just plugging it into your OBDII and getting this error?

 

When I first plugged it in it said no hex codes found

 

Check your fuse for OBII port...same as lighter fuse.

 

I will check that, but on the screen it reads the engine and trans temps fine it just won't let me set to a power program.

 

first time I hooked my programmer to the computer, I had to manually enter my hex code so the program could bind it to the EVO, after that, I could download stuff and I had no issue with putting on the truck

 

If your getting displays on the edge screen from your truck its not the fuse...is this a brand new Edge or did you buy it from somebody ??

 

A received it as a gift but it is brand new

 

humm...should be plug and play...can you try what CPT mentioned above...

 

Having the same problem with the hex code. Did you ever get it figured out?
