Default converting to center shift..

I have been wanting to convert to a center shift pretty bad. I have been watching eBay but had no luck yet. Anyone know where to get everything needed for this conversion in one place? Aside from junk yards.

This is going to be very expensive to do. Don't forget the dashes are different as well.

There was a console that went for $175 on eBay. you would only need the stereo surround part of the dash.. i bet you could do it for under $300

besides the console part you also have to find a transmission linkage/ cable, supply power to the OD on/off button, brake interlock and lights as well as supply the ducting for the vents on the back of the console, not to mention all the correct brackets and trim pieces to mount everything. your best bet is to try and find a wrecked lariat or FX4 at a salvage lot and get everything at one time from that but id bet it will cost you more than $300. heres a pic of my center console area with the console removed to give you an idea of what youll be working with.

I've seen someone post about doing the swap and the whole dash was different. You can see how the console dash is different down where the console ties into it. Your dash goes down and angles to the front of the truck where the center console dash goes straight down to tie into the console itself.
