You're going to have to take it to the dealer and have it programmed to work with your truck. Not much else to it. Odds are, if you do a straight swap, your ac/heater wont work, might have problems with dome lights, and a few other possible problems. The dome light and climate controls are the most common problems when going to that cluster...To my knowledge, having the dealer program it is the only "cure"

I've done several writeups on cluster swaps; I've swapped 4 different clusters into my STX to test, and am currently working on "decoding" the programming of several clusters.

Bottom line for you: that Lariat cluster will prevent the AC from working in your XLT (I'm guessing from the first pic that you have an XLT). Lariats and King Ranch clusters are good for their models only, and don't make good donors to other models equipped with the non automatic AC controls.

Do a search on this forum for "cluster swap". I have additional "what works/what doesn't".

It may be a sticky as well.

I'll assume you don't want to search and read my writeups.....Has to do with the temp readings in the cluster display, linked to the "auto climate" feature that the Lariat models have. Your AC lamp on the dash will illuminate, but the AC compressor clutch does not engauge. In my writeup, I explain what clusters will work for your truck.

Search and read.
