Default climate control ?

Another stupid question. LOL.. Will one of those Auto Climate controls work in a truck that didn't cone with it??? Is the controls for the auto climate in the computer, or in the auto climate control box ??

I don't entirely understand your question... Do you mean the type of climate control that came in a KR? If so, then no. Only the KR had the temp sensor in the dash. If you try to rig up an auto climate control in a vehicle without it then you will just lose AC all together.

StuckZipper. Thanks for the reply. I was looking at the climate controls from the higher end trucks that you set the temp and it holds it there for you. Ya, I think that came in the KR and HD f150's.

In any truck other than the KR those clusters will disable your climate control completely...

I agree. I'm the worlds worst in other vehicles about being freezing/hot and messing with the controls all the time.
