Default Check Engine light

My check engine light came on last week and i plugged in my tuner and got the code P2004. Which is the intake manifold stuck open. Has anyone had this problem? And what did you do to fix it? Is it any easy fix can i do it myself or do i need to take it to a shop? I cleared the code so the light would go off. But i want to fix it soon.. Any help would be great..
Thanks

Year/model engine would help. There are three different engines possible in the truck.

There is an actuater on the back of the intake manifold that opens a butterfly right on top the head ports. You have to pull the manifold off and its three 10 mm bolts and to rods. Its 54 dollars at ford and 12 apiece for 2 clips to hold to attach the rods to it. Mine took a crap a while back and it couldn't run worth crap.

And manifold gaskets are 30 dollars a piece. They don't always have to be replaced though but I would advise it

Mine seems to run ok. It feels like its lagging a bit more since that happened when i try to get down on it. But ive only had the truck a month and its got a lift and 37 inch tires on it. Im not sure if its just how heavy the tires are that its lagging.

Yea if it continues to throw the code you need to go ahead and replace it. When it goes completly out you will find out what lagging is lol.

Techrep: I am not sure if it has the stock gears on it. I bought it with everything on it. I need to go to a shop soon and have them check that out. They told me when most people lift the trucks and put bigger tires on it they don't change the gear ratio.
