Default changing headlights

I plan on changing my headlights in the near future. I currently have projector headlights with HIDs, however I am going back to the normal headlights and I intend on keeping the HIDs. Both my regular lights and my brights are HIDs. So my question is will I have to do anything when I switch back to the regular headlights? If so what? Are they different kind of HID brights that are made specifically for those types of headlights?

I dont think that you need to change anything the bulb model should still be the same h13 a beleive.

I have a freind whos willing to give me a pair of projector headlights for the truck. My question is why did you decide to go back to the regular headlights. Is there any downfall to the projectors that you saw.

I'm just changing them because I'm not liking the look of it anymore. At first I thought it was kinda cool but it just doesn't look right with the truck so I'm switching back.

Can you just switch the stock bulbs for HID's? Where do you get them from?

Yea you can switch the stock bulbs but you would need the actual hid kit with there separate ballasts.

I would appreciate that link if it isn't too much trouble. All I can ever find for HID lights cost $800+ for the Baja Designs kits.

Check out http://www.ddmtuning.com/ for your HID's. They are under $100.00 and they are a great company.

yes i have the ddm raptor kit on my bike, cost me like 55 to 60 bux. works friggin awesome! i feel bad for the people in front of me sometimes. but they come with a lifetime warranty so for the price there is none better. but be prepared to wait like 3 weeks for them.
