Thanks, mine has the floor shifter and I was stumped as to what that thing was. I kept trying to turn it, push it, etc. I can sleep now, lol.

yooo i ran into a huge problem today...i was skimming through the channels and when i clicked the buttom to talk my sub woofers made a big boom noise...not loud enough to blow them. btw i have 2 10's in the back......and i turned it off and tried it again but after i click it once it doesnt do it again until i give it a minture or something but if i do it fast it only does it once....i asked my friend at the audio shop and he said its because i have the antenna wire running to close to my back sub woofer amp....its like 4 inches away or less he said its the signal waves..im gonna change the antenna cable spot later but do you think it is from that?

We had that happen on a guys Ford Escape of all things lol one time, we put the CB in just the same but this time we wired it to the ciggarette lighter fuse and grounded it just under the dash and it would "leak" through the speakers. And you had alot of noise from the CB when you'd hit the gas, the sound would get a higher pitch along with rpm's

Well to be honest, last i checked he never had gone back to try to re-wire it. But even then it wasn't that big of a deal, it only did it when it was on so unless we were all "caravan'n" somewhere with all our CB's he just wouldn't turn it on. Its just nice to leave it on like mine is wired to where i leave it turned on and it turns on and off with the truck. With his you have to remember to turn it back off
