whats the risk with running 5w40 instead of 5w20... mine rattle and shutting them up would be nice i just cant afford it breaking down

nothing really, 5w20 is the range it is good for, so 5w40 covers a wider spread of oil viscosity

different oil pressure
wearing of tight tolerances (not immediate, but a looooong time consequence if you use the higher viscosity oil 100% of the time)

Default How did you use the seafoam?

Did you put the seeafoam in the oil, gas or vacuum line? I would like to do it to mine but a bit nervous. I hate the cam phazer noise plus I have 90k on the truck and its time for some tune ups.

maybee this is a stupid question but what else can wear out besides the cam phasers, if there already gone what is the danger of thicker oil to help getting a bit more mileage
