Edit: After thought. BTW, what was the symptom on that engine that prompted you to order phasers?
I have to admit it was carelessness on my part, I bought the truck from somebody that said it was bad cam phasers. Didn't do my due diligence to find out that that year does not have cam phasers but Cam gears. There was a slight ticking sound coming from the engine. Just a little more information about the truck. The truck is equipped with the evo tuner which diagnosed a number eight cylinder misfire, I went ahead and changed the coil pack and spark plugs on that side and truck ran better. Now that I have the Valve cover off and most of the other stuff disassembled, I noticed that there was coolant in the spark plug well in cylinder number eight. I'm going to do some more research to maybe it having a head gasket leak or a manifold leak. You live and you learn I guess. Here is a link to some video a shot of the truck running with the problem I described. I keep referring to cam phasers , thinking it had phasers. DUH!

Any suggestions or help on the form would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe a cylinder head gasket leak could result in coolant getting into spark plug well - IM gasket yes. Although my experience with that engine is solely extrapolated from what I know about a 5.4.

I do know both seem subject to have spark plugs insufficiently torqued, and a loose spark plug will produce a pretty good 'tick' sound. But what I hear in your video would cause me to want to 'slowly' rotate the engine, and check EACH lifter and roller/follower for ANY slack in the roller-to-cam junction and inspect each cam lobe carefully for any scoring.

gonna take both heads in to get them redone, 275.00 for both. They said they check the lobes and lifters also. Ok keep you guys updated.
