Do you have a tuner yet? An Edge, Hypertech, whatever. Any programmer will give you more bang for the buck than an intake.

Not much. Tuner/programmers run from $200-400. I see you have a 2006, 5.4L. What other performance mods?

Edge/Gryphon will add up to 35 HP and 45 ft/lbs for $399.

How much is the intake? Have you considered the Gotts mod ($15, DIY)?

The Gotts mod will give you the same hp gain as an intake kit, but if you want if for the 'look' - go for it!

I'd check eBay and other F150 forums. Guys routinely put on an intake and then take it off because of the drone so you might be able to find one cheap.

Here's a tuner: http://www.f150online.com/forums/eve...ml#post4037924

Do you need to change to a better flow air filter or stay stock?

Thanks
