Has anyone ever heard off the a/c not working because of an instrument cluster change?

yeah... the cluster needs to be compatible with your HVAC type auto or manual.

you have to get the correct cluster ... there may be several types you can use .. but, i don’t even know what truck we are talking about model/year/motor/mileage.. then it will need to be programmed for your truck.

Thats crazy, what does the instrument cluster have to do with the a/c?

I believe $100, but you can use Forscan.
