Default Buying help

I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what a fair price would be for this 07 F150 supercab and if there's anything i should look for while test driving it? http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...er_id=63944611

how the trans shifts

if the motor sounds like a diesel or there is a loud ticking from the motor dont walk RUN....a slight tick is normal but dont want loud ticking

Have a certified mechanic check it. They can tell you the trucks condition.

Nuff' said here! And like above said, take it for a good test drive, get the engine good and warm, and make sure it doesn't idle like a diesel. And try to get them to agree to change the spark plugs.....all they can do is refuse!

I didn't check the link, decent price but that's because of the mileage. You have gotten lots of good advice. But I would have a mechanic check the vehicle. Had a mechanic check a Buick I bought. Best $80 i spent on that car. Saved me over $1000 because of a catalytic convertor issue that I didn't see or hear. It was still under warranty (barely) and I got a new convertor and exhaust all the way to the tailpipe from the dealer. Best of luck!
