Unhappy bumper replacement?/ engine problems

Hello newbie here i just bought a 06 f 150 xlt super cab. The bumper is dented pretty good in the front and i want to replace it i found a bumper on e bay for 200 i have the round fog lights btw im not sure if it is the right thing to buy it says bumper cover im wondering is there something behind the chrome or not. Also the truck tends to back fire when revving up. And when flooring it the engine boggs down and doesnt want to go until i let off the gas causing me to cut alot of people off any thought and comments would be deeply appericated thanks in advance. It has the 5.4 with 60k on the clock

Fuel filter may help your bog or check the condition of your fuel module ...

You might do better on price for a bumper at your local junkyard.

Bumper covor is the chrome part of the bumper.... I've bought a painted one off ebay... I think it was 200 after shipping.. I had to paint it myself. I don't recall what the prices on the chromes ones were. I will look to try to find the website where i ordered my first one.. They were cheaper but out of stock when i needed the last one.

Be warned after market body parts are often not the same size as OEM and although they will bolt on they won't line up properly with other body parts. You should try to shop around for OEM part. The misfire are likely plugs although 60k is a bit early for plug problem or it may be a coil going bad. Any codes?

No codes. The other night i was on my way home from work and hammered down the check engine light began to blink then went away. Also i think there is an exhaust leak somewhere if i let it sit for a week condensation build up and comes out the tail pipe and the mifdle of exhaust it also back fires. I fear it may be a bad cat no rotten egg smell though. The previous owner had a problem with an injector and never got it taken care of it eventually went away. It does tick but i do not think it is the cam phaser

The blink light means that the misfire is being read by the computer but it hasn't been read often enough to trigger the CEL. Of you connect it to a code reader you may find that the code has already been stored. Try taking it out on the highway, disengage OD, and hammer it a couple of times this should give you the code that will point you to a bad COP. I wouldn't worry about the injector as that will not cause a misfire and if the problem is intermittent then it also unlikely the cat. My money is on a bad coil. Good luck

i have the same problum but mine only happens what the motor is not to normal temp. i hammer on it and its fine but when it hits 3k rpm it spits and spitters untill 4k rpm then its fine and when it shifts the same thing happens but when the motor is at normal temp it doesent do it the other day i was bringing it to ford to have an oil change and the CEL came on blinked like 8 times and went off and when i broght it there they said that thy couldnt pull any code becouse i shut the truck off... whatever! so they said that they would have to have it set overnight to let it cool compleatly before they can do any futher tests. they tryed to get it to do it when it was there but no code was thrown.
