Default Broken cd player

My cd player won't load or eject it just shows an error message every time. Now it randomly cycles through and has gotten quite loud and annoying. I've done some research and it looks like the cd player is toasted. But is there anyway to remove the cd player so it will stop cycling but I can still use the rest of the functions on my radio? I have the audiophile 6cd player BTW

i remember reading a thread about this a while back. Mine won't load cds. A couple guys said that our head units are garbage and when that happens they are toast and you need to buy a new one if you want to listen to cd's

get a new unit with an iPod control. Put the iPod in the glovebox, now you'll have a 999999 disk changer!
I hear all kinda of issues with six disc changers so I didn't get one and never will, especially using an iPod for music. As far as getting out just disassemble it, either unscrewing or hammers but I would recommend the unscrewing so you don't shatter discs

I have the aux cable input for my iphone. And I have no cds stuck inside but the cycling sound is very loud and annoying and I just want to be rid of it. I do not care if my cd player no longer works. I just want to be rid of the constant cycling

A fairly common issue with the 6 CD changers. I just recently upgraded my head unit with a JVC from Crutchfield.
The old unit that still worked good is in the basement so I took a look at it. Does not appear that removing the coverplate will provide access to the discs. Just a visual observation as I did not dismantle the unit.
The new JVC provides much better sound with the stock speakers. Was easy enough to install - took about 1/2 an hour in the truck.
