I don't know about the ceramic brake parts. But I know the former owner of my truck put Duralast brake pads on the truck and the amount of front rotor brake dust is horrible!
I am going to be putting factory pads on when I do change them.

Ceramics are nice in that they produce less dust but they tend to chew thru rotors faster. I have had good luck with the Wagner thermoquiets(semi-metallic). I think they have a rebate right now on them.

Best bet is to determine what type of braking you require. Those that tow should use a metallic brake, as these produce the best stopping distance. They produce large amounts of brake dust though. Semi-metallic produce less brake dust, but provide less braking (stopping distance) than full metallic. Ceramic are great for street type driving and no towing/light towing requirements, and produce the least amount of brake dust, but are not as good "stopping distance wise" as the metallic and semi-metallic.
You should make your decision on this.

I use Hawk LTS pads front and rear and recommend them to anyone who wants better braking performance over the stock pads.
as for rotors I would recommend staying with a solid OEM replacement rotor, you will not get enough "performance" from a crossed drilled and/or slotted brake rotor to make the higher price worth it, well unless your doing a LOT of heavy towing or racing your truck.
If you are interested in any of the brake pads or rotors send me a pm with your zip code for a price quote.
