Blower switch or resistor or....
Hi, heres my issue with this problem of having the fan on high. I have read a couple of post on this problem but. Now with the switch changed and also the resistor. I am still not able to have 1 2 and 3 to work.
I am going to try a second resistor tomorrow morning to see if they gave me a defective resistor.
But if this doesn't work, does anybody have a guess on what else could it be going wong ?

Most often its the resistor but obviously you've covered that. If resistor #2 doesn't fix it then I'd be looking at the motor. My thought is the bearings may be nearly worn out, and dragging to the point that it takes full power to get the motor spinning.
Well i tried the a second resistor and it work like a charm.
The first one was defective. Good people at Caps auto parts they refund me for the blower switch and the the first resistor.
