Default the black box

Well i tried the new Turtle wax Black box today. I would say it is for your week end clean the car or truck kinda person. If you are a ( pro or seasoned detailer like most on this site ) dont waste your money its nothing special. It did produce a shine but the mess you go through isnt worth it. stains your hands and fingernails you would have to wash all your rags it stains them also. Just my 2 cents or 20.00 bucks depends how you look at it. Still looking for the next great wax !!!!

This is the best stuff I have used... Ever. I use this with a damp applicator pad. A little goes a long way. Water beading lasts two to three weeks depending on the deluges your area gets. For $11ish, it is a little pricey but very well worth it. It is very easy to get off and produces minimal powder. It is available just about anywhere.

i honestly havn't even used wax yet on mine but i'll definitly remember to look for Collinite in the future if I do. I just keep my truck washed & detailed regular...you would never know i even drive it when you see it. kindof a clean freak when it comes to my Lariat.

Zaino blows EVERYTHING else away! Nothing IMO, even comes close.

I use almost all Megs products and am very happy with the results. I do use a few other products to really finish her off though. It all starts with surface preparation. My routine usually consists of;

- Wash using Megs Gold Class & 2 bucket method
- clay entire truck
- 1 or 2 passes with Megs #80 (more aggressive products if needed)
- Megs #26
- Danase Wet Glaze (I don't do this step everytime)
- Opti-Seal (If you have never used this stuff man it is awesome & a little goes a very longggggggg ways)
- Hyperdressing on tires
- Don't forget those wheel wells as well (any cheap tire shine will work)
- Stoner's for all glass

For in between washes I use Optimum instant detailer & gloss enhancer.
