Default Bed Storage Ideas

I have a Leer 700 hard tonneau on my truck now, and I'm putting it on CL. It's great for some purposes, but for the most part, it's sorta defeating the purpose of having a tuck bed. I went to throw 3 bikes in it the other day, and had to drive down the road with the topper bungeed...lame. When/if I ditch this thing, is there something you could recommend for limited weather-proof storage that I can place in the bed, but remove easily if I need the space? I'm guessing a box of some sort, no bigger than 1/4 the bed size. Just ballparking here...open to suggestions. Thanks.

Why don't you sell it and put the money you get towards a folding tonneau? Weather tight, and fold up if you need to put something tall in the bed. Or go get a truck tool box for the back to secure your items.

I looked at a few folders, but they looked as if they were coated with vinyl. I can just see that stuff coming apart in a few years. I was thinking more along the lines of a box that sat inside the bed, but I not totally against another complete bed cover.

If I were you, I'd get a bakflip, diamondback, or a camper shell. I have a snug top shell and I love it.

I was thinking the backflip. It's not vinyl, and fits flush with the top of the bed so it looks good. It's a black hard plastic material of some sort.

Or just go to Lowes and get a kobalt box for the back.

Is there a particular model of Kobalt box you would recommend?
