Default bed liner

after much debating of weather or not to do a bed liner my self (already sanded the bed) i have deceided to get it done professionally. any recomendations, i have pretty much only heard of rhino, and line-x. are there any other GOOD brands out there, how thick should i get it sprayed on. my bed is real torn up from past use, now i just use for daily krap to throw in the back, occasionally a four wheeler. so my bed will be getting used but nothing to crazy anymore. also from past use, i have really deep scratches and dents, will the bed liner fill in the deep scratched and somewhat cover the small dents, i know not the big ones. what is a good price that yall have paid/ what should i expect to be paying

linex seems to be really popular but i have seen all of the brands perform the same as long as they are applied correctly(clean, sanded, the right ambient temp and thickness). I personally think im going to do it myself this spring w/ either roll on or rattle can. What did you use to sand your bed?

Get it done. The do it yourself stuff sucks.

Me and my brother did his old truck and it would chip and peel any time he put something in the bed and we sanded and scuffed the bed exactly like we were supposed to, even using a DA sander.

I had a rhino liner sprayed in and love it. I've had it two years now and not a problem. They put it on about 3/16 inch thick so it covers most small dents and scratches. Lifetime warrenty on any scratches, chips or pealing. They did all the work and cost me $350 for the entire bed and tailgate.

i used a wire brush (not sure of the thickness) that attached to my drill. i have done the rattle can to my tool box and 4wheeler. it looks nice at first but after a few months i have started to notice some flaking. just adding another layer usually fixes this problem but im kinda getting tired of it after 1.5 years and just want it done the right way. on the tool box and 4 wheeler i sanded, used adhesion material, and about 5 layers on each. roughly 4 cans per item

How much is the Line X for the bed? I'm thinking about having my gray rocker panels done in black too.

Line-X gets my vote too. Better than RHINO in my opinion. And it didn't take them long to spray it on. I'll be having my brush guard done there if I ever get one.

Blah with the "DIY stuff sucks". I used dupont bed armor and I have had professionals say they were impressed and before anyone walks in with their scientific chart to compare what is inside products, save your breath. I'll post pictures year after year and they will still have excuse why not to DIY.

Beginning of the year a few on this board and others said it would look faded and like crap by end of summer. Heh, still looking as it did first day.
