I bought one off of Ebay that is wonderful. No Drilling and can be used as a bed divider. I payed $95.00 shipped right to my door.

Go to Ebay and type in Bed Extender and they will pop up. The one I have is the one that is advertised for all makes of trucks. Look through them and you will find one that you can make an offer on. I payed $75.00 plus shipping. In my view they are better than the $500.00 one you buy from Ford.

Good Luck If you would like to see some pictures of mine let me know and I will try and post a link or something so you can see mine.

Regards

I have the Bestop/AMP Bed X-tender in powder black for my 05 stepside. It looks nice and has come in handy a number of times. Mounting required drilling a couple small holes (and assembly is a little tedious).

If you do get this one, I'd order the additional "quick latch" kit. There's been a few times I would have liked to be able to load up the bed and then put on the x-tender after, but load wouldn't allow the ability to tilt the x-tender straight up into the attach/detach position.

I don't think I actually have any pics of it in use on my truck.
