Group 65 with at least 800 cold cranking amps. Anything other than a battery made by Exide will be fine IMO.

I dont trust optima anymore. They used to be American made and I ran them all the time in my jeep. Now they are made outside of the states and the last two that I had crapped out in a month or two.

I have always heard good things about Diehard platinum's and interstate batteries.

Deka is made by East Penn who also makes Napa, Oreileys, and several others. Johnson Industries makes Interstate, Everstart, Die Hard, etc. Both are good brands.

Problems I've had selling Exides for years is their availability got terrible and they couldn't catch back up. A lot of part numbers on our drop ships were getting backordered or cancelled. The warranties were also skyrocketing. The whole deal caused Napa to swap over to East Penn and the warranties were cut in half the first year.
