700 bucks for 40 horses.....that turns into about 17.50 per horse.....

Not too bad......considering.

the new SilverOak processors are much different from the EEC-V in your mustang or my Tbird. The processor takes measurements and processes parameters at a much quicker rate, but also is very temperamental. Ill use the S197 Stang as an example, any CAI will cause the car to lean out, but running any number of the CAIs on the market along with the proper tune will result in some 30hp increase over baseline. The same for the F150, a competant tuner who understands transmission parameters and fuel/air adjustment can get great results with the F150.

depends on what you want body or performance, ill assume performance because everone else is saying performance stuff so an intake and tuner and you already have the exhaust

I got a package deal from Troyer for my tuner and CAI (added exhaust later) and it was worth every penny IMO. I'm not sure how many extra ponies I'm pushing, all I know is my truck is alot more responsive and the seat of the pants feeling was worth the investment.
