hey guys

does the 2008 style f250 and f350 side triangle badges fit a 2005 f150 fender without fitment issues

im looking at getting a custom one made for my f150

I'm no expert but don't custom badges just stick on? If that's the case I don't see why it wouldn't fit.

 

you would be correct.. my thought was the contour of the f250 fender might be different from the f150 so it may not lay flat

they make aftermarket ones that you can buy that stick on. I have them on my truck.

Because I like the look

I am looking at some aftermarket ones too, just making sure that they will work before i put money into it

They may have guide pins to fit the holes you will have in your front fenders and rear tail gate. Check with a Ford parts department. They can pullone off the shelf for you to visually see. I had to clip the pins off of the '09 emblems to have them fit my 2005. Only the front fenders though, as the tail gate went right on.

 

Do you have any pics of the new emblems on your truck? Also are there holes in the fenders? I would like to put the newer tailgate f150 badge on the fenders too.
