My truck has 197k and they looked great. Shot a little dielectric grease into the hole, and spread some on the outside of the boot to protect the rubber, and it's running like a top.
I suppose if it aint broke don't fix it.
Agree... I do a lot of preventive stuff...the boots and springs were cheap and just thought it would be a good idea to replace them while I had them off.
