Remember to use throttle body cleaner only for the TB, that butterfly valve is coated in Teflon and needs it... also the MAF requires MAF cleaner, sensitive electronics

Quick question... what kind of difference can this really make? I just did my plugs (along with 100 other things), and the springs and boots looked like new. No idea if P.O. did them (doubt it).

Depends ...how many miles on your truck... the spring connects the COP with the tip of your spark plug...if you don't have good contact there you will lose spark...the boot protects these connections...seal each end of the boot with dielectric grease to keep moisture out..

My truck has 197k and they looked great. Shot a little dielectric grease into the hole, and spread some on the outside of the boot to protect the rubber, and it's running like a top.

I suppose if it aint broke don't fix it.
