Default Bad relay?

Hello,

The last couple months I’ve had some issues that I thought was just my AC not working. Turns out my A/C, cruise, and 4wd don’t work. I replaced the fuse in the central fuse box but it blows as soon as I start the engine. I know the relays for all these are under the hood on the drivers side. Bad relays possibly? Anyone else have this issue. AC and cruise don’t really bother me. I just don’t like driving around in a neutered truck. Lol.

Brake and ABS light remain on as well as no reverse lights. 🤔

#14 fuse runs all of this but it pops as soon as I turn the engine over.
#11 as well. Which runs the a/c clutch and the 4x4 solenoid

Unplugged PCV. Replaced #14 and 11 fuses. When I started the truck up the #11 fuse blew. But I did notice there was an exposed wire on the PCV, valve side of the wiring. But even with it unplugged, one of the fuses still popped.

Pcv is on 14, used to pop, now doesn’t with heater unplugged….. so heater is shot, that was issue with 14.

now work on 11

fyi. I have thread with part number and info on pcv Heater replacement. If you search you’ll find it.

I got the exposed wires covered and secured. I’ve now got the reverse lights back and the abs and brake light go off like they should. Haven’t checked the cruise yet. Still haven’t found what’s popping the #11 fuse for the a/c, and 4x4 solenoid. I do however hear the hubs engaging when activated, but, no 4 Hi or 4 Lo indicator light on the instrument panel when engaged.

More likely, you're hearing the transfer case motor, not the IWE solenoid. Only the IWE solenoid in the 4x4 system uses power from F11.

Does F11 still blow if the climate control is switched to OFF?
