back up lights
I need to replace my reverse light bulbs with somthing brighter (hard to see backward with tinted windows) anyone know what kind of replacement bulb I need to get.I have a 2007 F150
3456 is the brightest direct replacement (25% brighter than stock). You can get knockoff 50W 3156 bulbs or use fog bulbs in the housing, but you're risking yellowing/melting the plastic lens. Best way to go is Aux lighting.
I have Pilot NV-803s ($25 and real easy install), more expensive alternatives are available from KC and PIAA.

This thing works wonders if you've got a trailer connection, just plug and go.
