Default back up lights

I need to replace my reverse light bulbs with somthing brighter (hard to see backward with tinted windows) anyone know what kind of replacement bulb I need to get.I have a 2007 F150

dont know about bulbs. but i have KC backup lights and they work great. i mounted them to my trailer hitch receiver

3456 is the brightest direct replacement (25% brighter than stock). You can get knockoff 50W 3156 bulbs or use fog bulbs in the housing, but you're risking yellowing/melting the plastic lens. Best way to go is Aux lighting.

I have Pilot NV-803s ($25 and real easy install), more expensive alternatives are available from KC and PIAA.

yeah i think i paid 75 for 2 KCs and all the wiring and relay needed

love my KC lights. Wired to reverse lamps and a cab switch to also turn them on whenever I want.

Do you have a three way switch so you can do reverse only. Off all of the time. And on all of the time? My switch is just a simple on/off

mines just on/off. Theres never a time I wouldnt want them on in reverse.

Oh I figured the more I run them in reverse while its daylight, the more I shorten the life span of the lights
