Back Sliding Window

Default Back Sliding Window

my buddy has a 06 screw with the back sliding window and he can't get his to work. tried the switch but didnt work, any ideas on what could be causing it to not work? anything simple we could check out quickly? an how can we tell if it needs a new motor? thanks for any input guys

Was it factory or an accessory add on...I just installed ford accessory add on and can take some pic of the install instructions for him to check wiring if needed..lmk

factory back sliding glass, didnt know yet made accessory add on ones, post those pics if you don't mind. just incase he's wrong lol

Yeah, then remove the back seat (drivers side I believe) and check on the motor. Also make sure nothings in the way. I hear these back sliding windows are a pain. If mine ever messes up im just getting a solid window and getting a picture on it...

You need to remove the back seat. There should be 2 motors (the window, and they keyless door one (not sure what else this one does). I believe the window one is the smaller of the two.

do I have to remove the back seat or can I just fold it forward? not sure if the 04's do that, my 03 did. haha are they really that bad? that's a bunch bro will tell him so he can check!

My 04 flips up on the seat, not folds forward. So itd need to be removed. I remember my 01 folded forward and thats where the jack was. There was also space under the seat. But there is no under my seat on my 04 (factory sub and the jack)

that's what I thought! yeah the 97-03 flipped forward the 04 an up flip up. no factory sub in mine :/ but I took the jack out an put it in the toolbox
