Default auto lights

On my 04 the auto lights seem to take long to come on when switching to a tunnel and needs to be completely dark before they come on.

Is there a way to make the auto lights come on the whole time the truck runs regardless if it is night or day?

Tint or tape over sensor or is there something I can unplug?

Besides not using the auto stuff and just turning them on by the switch your stuck with the tape or tint. The little red light on the dash that flashes when the trucks off its what you would need to cover.

Remember the tunnel's are lighted around here...tape the sensor if you want them on all the time..

I know the tunnels have light still notice a big delay in coming on even with the same lighting through out the tunnel.

Yeah they are delayed so they aren't constantly coming on and going off because of brief darkness....such as a short tunnel

There's a thread around here about applying tints to the sensor to make it more sensitive. You can test with pieces of tinted plastic before applying.
