Nice Martian! As to if I am envious to a 2015/2016? No. I just want one with low miles and not a 5.4 I worry about. A 2014 5.0 would make me forget my truck in a hurry.....

5.0's have their own concerns too.

Nothing is ever bullet proof

I was digging around in their section earlier reading on Knocking motors and the issues with them.. makes me think no matter which gen you go to there is going to be something..

Although there are few threads that I have ever seen started
" I just passed 750k and have never done anything but maintenance "

LOL

I work in the "Trucking" industry.. Million mile trucks are few in far but everyone wants one. Not that those trucks never did an in-chassis overhaul to get there but 13.5k on a 600k mile engine is cheap money to keep a truck thats making 5 to 7k a week..

I have kicked around the idea of 13/14 FX4 with a 6.2, but my truck has been paid off for a year, runs great and still paying on the Saleen, ugh

My only problem was an impulse by on a 2007 F150 XL 4.6L V8 Scab. Not my dream truck, I would've preferred and FX4 but it's what I have now. Still paying it off, but I figure I'll keep working on it and making it my own and see where that lives me when it comes time to PCS. If it's where I want it and I'm willing to pay to ship it back stateside, i'll keep it. If not, I'll see what is available. I'd love to have a raptor but I'd also prefer to keep some of my savings.. Older trucks are great simply because they don't require ridiculous monthly payments.

There are no widespread problems with the 2013/2014 5.0. You must have read about the 2011/2012 engines. I have done my research.
