Really depends on who did the rebuild...just because the core is a motorcraft, it does not mean that motorcraft internals were used to remanufacture it.

Okay, well that's a damn scary thought... wouldn't you think they'd remove the MC brand name if MC internals weren't used? Because at that point it's just an MC shell... I can't trust anything anymore *sets truck on fire*

I bought a new motorcraft with a lifetime warrenty for about 265:00. the last one went 250,000 so I hope this one will also!

Its probably a Moto-craft kind of like the pana-so-onic radio I bought yrs ago for cheap. Its not just "who" does the re build but "who" meaning what employee did the rebuild. Some reman parts look real proffesional and others look like they are giving chimpanzees a shot at it. Its known as "G E", Good Enough
