All interior lights to blue process
NAVYTREV.... now you see why I get 250-300 to do a full truck swap! plus I make the lenses for the radio and a/c panel, and send out loaner switches to use while I do the swap. Just wait till you do the 20 in the radio and the a/c panel, lol
300 for
4 doors
headlight
4x4
pedal adjust
radio
a/c
pass airbag
cruise switches
cluster
console
alarm
back up
power slider
moon roof
my next project is the key pad for the drivers door!

Ha ya i got quick at it though after some practice, but my problem now is im making some fat sauder on the end and i think i messed up the passnger door window switch cuz those little black things on the board i accidently had the sauder touching that when i hooked it up and didnt notice, and now no lights are coming on. How are you doin it cuz im getting good sized drops of sauder. I cant seem to use the very small amount like the oem. You think the switch is messed up? i still need some more time messin with it.
I doubt that the switch is messed up. Just re-solder it without it touching anything else. You might invest in a better solder kit. I have a gold-ole army soldering kit with about 15 different soldering tips from super big to super small, flat, wide, etc. It would be worth the investment if you plan on doing this a bunch more. If it still isn't working after re-soldering it then check the fuse. These switches aren't too complicated so I doubt it would have broken that easy. Have you changed the instrument cluster lights yet? I just bought a bunch of LED, mounts, and resistors on ebay. The LEDs are wide angle, white, 20k mcd (brightness), The resistor are 1/4 watt, 330 ohm. Hopefully this will be bright enough. I bought like 100 or so and plan on replacing the Instrument cluster lights, dome lights, and adding about 25 to each side of the bed for night lighting (for loading and such). I will keep you posted on how that turns out.
K will do. Not yet the LEDS i got for that hasnt showed up yet. And i got an FX4 cluster on the way so im waiting on that. White will be cool that was one color i was considering.
Th ac, radio, and head light switch was very simple compared to the door switches, but i have never done this before and i started on the door switches so that might have been why. Heres some pics of what i did today. Once i get the cluster and cruise control done il try to get a detailed write up done, ive been takin pictures of the process. Anyone know a good way to get to the cruise swtiches? Would a swivel on the socket do it? I cant get in there and loosen the bolts!

Wow those are all really awesome, thats what I love about this forum. I never even considered some mod like this, cheap but time consuming, sounds like my kind of job. Now which color? Blue, Red? Are there LEDs for every color.. purple?? I'm happy I read this, good job guys
I don't get this blue light thing! The best light for night vision is red. The military uses it or did when I was in the Army, it's been a while now...
I bought a used F150 that has an after market Alpine CDA9853 in the dash. The radio is the most annoying thing to deal with at night. The 4 blue buttons on the left of the radio are blinding they are so bright! I have to keep tape over them. I'm actually looking to replace the radio because of them. I'm looking for something that has red illumination. Any ideas? Has to be satellite ready and be of the same or better quality as the Alpine I have.
