Default Alignment problems w/ leveling kit

I just installed a 2.5" HBS leveling kit and went to my alignment shop to setup a appointment to get the truck aligned and the guy at the shop told me that in the past he has had trouble with the alignment of trucks with leveling kits. He said this was due to the lack of adjustment in the front end of the truck to align it properly. Has anyone experienced any issues with this???

There is no camber adjustment built into the frames on the 09+ unlike most vehicles. All they can adjust without cutting into the frame is toe in/out. I went with a 1.5" level and its only slightly out on camber, barley wears my tires unevenly (23k mi on stock tires, still good) and drive straight. I'd go down to a 2" or you may have to open up the holes in the frame and add some aftermarket alignment cams.

Had a HBS 2.5 inch leveling kit put on with my new tires, and the shop did the alignment no problems. They move the lower control arms alot, but after 20k with it, no uneven tire wear, and no pulls, so I'm happy

Well I installed my 3 inch hbs level and I align my vehicles myself at a school auto shop and it was still perfect and didn't need to be aligned! I was shocked! Same when I put my 33's on. Which I know that it's just recommended when you get new tires. Not needed.

Not on the 09-10 havent looked at 11+ but just realized this is the 04-08 forum so ya there should be on that year.

Also they may not be able to get it exactly to stock spec but they should be able to get it close enough.

There are no camber adjustments for these trucks... You can get camber adjuster kits but you typically dont need them. I did my own alignment after my 2.5" Kit and it only moved the Camber adjustment 0.4 degrees which was still in spec, I just set the tow and went.
