Default Accident...sort of a blessing

Well, last week while running some errands for work, a dumb woman who had piled crap so high in her minivan she couldn't see out of the windows hit me. There were only minor scratches but I decided to have her insurance fix my bumper. Ended up getting fog lights, a new painted upper bumper and a brand new chrome bumper.

Turns out it was a blessing in disguise

Don't know how that is a blessing.

I hit a lady a few months ago. She had a little dent. I told her I would pay to get it fixed, she said no, she wanted my insurance info. So I gave it to her and all. I even told her I would give her 500 bucks right now if she didn't make a claim, it was only going to be 100 at most to fix the dent.
But oh no. she did a claim, and she gets a brand new bumper, over 1000 bucks of work done to the car, and now my insurance gets jacked up.

I hate how repair shops do that crap

Woot. I want it fixed correctly. If I wanted to drive around with 500 bones in my pocket and a f*cked up bumper, I would have bought a truck with a f*cked up bumper for 500 bones less than I paid...

She hit me. The blessing is I got the fog lights and everything fixed on her dime. My insurance wasn't even contacted. Maybe I wrote it wrong or maybe you just didn't read it right. Its a blessing.

I just got a check for 3475 bucks cause an old guy in a pos chevy couldn't stop at a red light... I'm debating between fixing my truck or putting that money toward my 67 mustang coupe
