5.4 power
Got in an argument with my brother about the 5.4 power. He used to have a nissan Titan and just got an 05 king ranch. He thinks the 5.4 is pretty weak. Drove his Titan a few times and it does feel very powerful. He thinks an f150 is useless with a skidsteer behind it cause we always used a diesel. Any towing pics would be very greatly appreciated
F150 with the 5.4 rated: 300 hp @ 5000 rpm and 365 tq @ 3650 rpm
Titan with 339 ci rated: 305 hp @ 4900 rpm and 379 tq @ 3600
So little larger motor in the Nissan, little better numbers. Towing is largely based on gears and the transmission. Put an old gas V8 (200 hp) in a 2.5 ton farm truck with 5.30 gears and a 13 speed transmission, guess who wins the towing battle. Unless the skid steer and trailer are fairly light you're probably pushing the GWVR of the half ton anyways.

My brother has a Titan and I will say that it feels more powerful from a dead stop but I just think its all in the way the power is applied. Rear-end gearing(Titans 4.10:1 to F-150 3.73:1), Trans gearing and the titans stock electric fan vs. the F-150 stock mechanical cooling fan all have to play into it. If both trucks were set up the same way the outcome would probably be non bias.

5-speed RE505A in the Nissan, I'm not sure of the ratios for each gear. The F150 has a 4R75E with 1st: 2.84 2nd: 1.55 3rd: 1.00 4th: 0.70 ratios. It's pretty easy to see once it goes into 1:1 why it isn't a speed demon.
