I get 13 -15 MPG just like the majority of the posts, as far as oil change 3000 -3500 used to be the norm when your oil pan held 5 qt. now days when you put 7 qt. in an engine you don't have to change as often. I use motorcraft 5w 20 and a purelator oil filter every 5k. Works for me

I'm using it! As for worth it, I can't say with 100% certainty. I noticed a 4 degree drop for daily driving in engine temp (196F -> 192F ) and that's about it. I have to admit that it was their advertising and results I've seen published in magazines that got me. I don't think you can go wrong with any full synthetic that meets oem standards and am looking forward to not changing my oil till June.

Fwiw, 7 quarts @ $9 = $63
K&N Filter @ $16= $79 total.

So it is VERY expensive compared to regular oil.

Question Anyone use Mobil 1 0W-20 yet?

I've been using 5W-20 Mobil 1 since truck was new, thinking about switching to the 0W-20 to see if mileage goes up any. Has anyone else tried this oil yet? Comments?

5w-20 is already so thin!
Not sure how well the 0w-20 would dispense the heat and lube the block.
