Default 5.4 Engine lacking power

Lately my truck has been feeling sluggish when I give it gas and going up bigger hills and the mpg's have gone down some. I tried running Lucas in the gas but it didn't help. Is there something else I can do? I've heard run marine 2 stroke oil in the gas would help but I'm to scared to do it.

Don't put 2 stroke oil in your gas. Just don't. Try changing your fuel filter. It's cheap and easy and may help a lot.

What year? Mileage? Coils? Plugs? I have a 2004 with just over 166,908. I seafoam'd the engine through the brake booster line, run 2 doses of Chevron Techron two weeks apart followed by a can of seafoam in the tank. Cleaned the MAF and throttle body and mine is back up to snuff. I had to change out all my coils as well.

I would recommend using a can of Seafoam and change out your fuel filter.
