Default 4 Cats

If im correct this truck (05) has 4 cats and if i were to gut 2 of them i wouldnt be losing backpressure and hurting performance would i? Just wondering i still have stock muffler with cutout but if i open cutout would like it to be bit louder but dont care for putting a exhaust to be loud all the time....

Part way through the 05-06 years they did the switch to two cats. Look under the truck to be sure. And if you think "backpressure" is essential to exhaust operation go to the link in my sig.

You can cut the rear cats off and not have a cel or anything and it makes it a lot louder, that's what I did. Or you can cut all 4 off and replace with maggie high flows 94106 or 94136 (have bungs in them for 02 sensor), that's what I got and they're goin on tomorrow

Tim1216, could you possible post some pics of the pipe that was welded in place of the rear cats? I'd like to get an idea of what it looks like.
