Default 2008 F150 Keypad Entry Code

Can anyone tell me where I can find the door keypad entry code for my 2008 F150? I purchased the truck used and it did not come with the factory code card. I’ve looked under the dash next to the drive column and could not find it. I’ve also looked under the glove box, and in the fuse box. I’ve heard that I might be able to find it behind the rear seat, but I don’t want to rip the seats out for no reason. The dealership wants to charge me $150 to “reset” the code, and I’m just not willing to pay that much for a convenience item.

Can anyone help?

The truck came with a white plastic card in the owner's manual that had the code. If you don't have that then you need to get a dealership to plug the computer in and pull the code.

If you know which dealership sold the truck, and you go to the dealership, then they may have the code on file.

We have all the codes on file for any vehicle we have sold in the last 6 years. However, I want to see your registration and driver's license to ensure you are the owner of the vehicle. There are way too many scams out there to give it out with out those two pieces of ID.

PM me your vin number and I will tell you who the original dealership was.

unless you pull the rear seats out where you will find the code printed on the module, you will have to pay the stealership to give you your code.

Well I went and looked . There are 2 stickers , looking in from the front of the truck there is one toward the drivers side that has all of the computer info on it . Then there is another on the passenger side . This appears to have a 5 digit number on it but mine is too faded to tell what the numbers are . It would be a very easy place to get it if I could read the numbers . Oh well , a trip to the dealer tomorrow . I wont pay though . I know some people , lol .

The module is mounted behind the rear seat on the driver side. If you look up rear seat removal on here and follow those steps, you'll have it out and back in again literally in a matter of minutes. Same thing happened with me and that's how I ended up getting my code because I refused to pay them $50 to hook up to it and tell me it. Good luck, it's not hard at all to pop the rear seat out

I have heard (not sure thou) that the code maybe on the inside of the key pad also. You will have to remove the key pad from the door handle. Like I said, not sure if this is true.
