Smile 2004 Side mirrors

Just bought a pair of side mirrors for my truck but they did not have the turn signals like the factory ones. The ones I got only have reflective plastic. Is there a way to install a light kit onto one of these mirrors and if yes can someone direct me to a supplier. Thanks!!!

I'd try to find some with lights from a wrecker.

I've not seen just the lights and internal mirror wiring harness for sale to replace the reflectors only. I assume you have the plug in the mirror for the power glass, but the pins for the lights/turn signals are most likely not in that plug either.
Best to try and sell the ones you have, and check EBay or your local salvage yards for a set with everything you want.

Keep you eyes open on the for sale section. I'll be listing my '07 mirrors in a week or two. They are power, heated, auto dim (driver's) with black painted skull caps.

He's asking about turn signal indicators within the mirrors.
But nice "pre-advertising" classified post. Not allowed on a tech forum; we have the PM function for that.

Sorry, didn't mean like that at all...I thought all packages from XLT up had the signals?

Well..few things. What model is your truck? Are your current mirrors powered? If they are, then obviously that means you have the harness and you should have bought powered mirrors for plug and play. If not, or you want to use the ones you have..it's possible. I own an stx with no power mirror harness. I bought towing mirrors with no reflector at all and I added the led strips and wired them under the hood. Your case would be even easier since you have the reflectors. These ones in the link pop right into the place of the refleftors.

Also just realized these are only the front side..so not sure if you mean front or inside..but same goes for inside. They make them that just pop in place of the reflector. I haven't done it yet but I do own the parts. Just a led strip that goes under the reflector

I too have an STX that had no door wiring. I installed tow mirrors some time back that have the puddle lamp and turn signal indicator built in to them. My issue was trying to find the "male" 16 pin plug; online the're 40 bucks apiece, and they come with 8 inches of wire in each pin to splice to.
I ended up hitting several boneyards in my area and found a couple of trucks that had their door wiring harness that I cuold cut this plug from. Got both fo 20 bucks.
