With that said let me explain. 09+ sits three inches further out. The fenders bolt up but not the last bolt by the headlight. The upper bumper will connect to the fender but will hamg loosely in the middle with no support. The headlights need a bracket made to be bolted on. McNeil racing sells the brackets but they need to be worked an slightly cut to fit decent. The hood requires the 09+ hood hinges and bolts right up. The annoying part is the lower bumper bravkets need to be cut an re welded 3" out to bolt up to a 09+ bumper. Sounds like a lot but for under 100 u can get the brackets and bumper relocated
I'm guessing the same goes for the 09+ fx4 front end ? or no since the raptor is wider.... I got a Guy locally that selling a whole front end for 1000 bumper ,grill, Hood and fenders

How they mount is the same. The extra width is in the fenders.

Right, but if you have the brackets, they bolt up to the same hole as non Raptor - correct?

I really want to pick up an 04-08 RCSB and convert it with Raptor gear - that would be a killer toy.

The only clip swap I would attempt would be the raptor. The headlights look much better because they are "sunk in" to the fenders on the raptor.. The drivers door is longer on the 09+ which makes it easier to spot a clip swap on an 04-08... Not to mention the difference in wheel well stampings... Some OEM fender flares might hide the fenders, but I'm not sure how well.
